High Quality Content by WIKIPEDIA articles! Baha-ud-Din Naqshband Bukhari (1318–1389) was the founder of what would become the Naqshbandi Sufi order. He was a Persian of Arab descent and was born in Bukhara. He is the Master of this Tariqat and the Shaikh of the Naqshbandi Golden Chain and the Best of those who carried this lineage from the Khwajagan. He was a descendant of the Golden Chain of Imams from the Ahl al-Bayt of the Prophet Muhammad.
